Put a little art in your heart

Who We Are

Founded in 2005, the Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Arts Council has, from its inception, been a vital and inspiring part of the cultural and artistic life of Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff. From art classes for children, through exhibitions and musical entertainment, to an annual art studies scholarship, the Council offers activities for all ages.

From 2005 through 2016, in partnership with the Grandview Heights Public Library and the City of Grandview Heights, the Council was the driving force behind the Lazy Daze Festival, a summer arts staple. They’ve also sponsored such events as Actors’ Theatre performances of The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged; a live concert by Theresa Cicione, A New York opera star originally from Grandview Heights; and Music on the Lawn, a popular series of evening concerts that draw a crowd every Tuesday in June and July.

The Council also administers display space in the Grandview Heights Library, curating a different monthly exhibition by a central Ohio artist or art group; and has a presence at the Grandview Hop, an evening street market with live music, art, artists, and food.

We invite the input and involvement of all interested artists and arts patrons in our continuing, enjoyable efforts to raise awareness of, and support, the arts in Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff.
